EDITSCD consortium grows!
The Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences has joined the project!
As part of the “Hop-on facility” program, which enables research institutions from widening countries to join R&I actions already underway as part of Horizon Europe, the initial consortium has now been joined by the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBCH PAS; Poznań, Poland). The Department of Genome Engineering, headed by Prof. Marta Olejniczak, will reinforce the project’s objective by developing a method to improve the efficiency of HDR-based approaches by covalently binding the DNA repair template to CRISPR-Cas9 nucleases.
